Safety and Emergency Preparedness

Video Intercom and Access Control

  • During peak hours: Drop-off and pick-up times are actively monitored and controlled by our reception staff to manage all entries and exits.
  • Outside of peak hours: The main entrance door remains securely locked. A video intercom system allows staff to identify visitors and unlock the door upon request.

Fire Safety

  • A comprehensive evacuation protocol is in place, thoroughly understood by the entire management and childcare team, and fully approved by local authorities.
  • Regular fire drills are conducted, and each one is systematically followed by an official report to continuously optimize our internal procedures.
  • Staff members regularly participate in training sessions to ensure maximum efficiency and readiness in the event of an incident.

Medical Care and Emergency Procedures

  • A structured medical care and emergency protocol is firmly in place within our facility.
  • Several staff members hold certified first-aid qualifications, and essential first-aid equipment and supplies are readily available at all times.

Specific Safety and Emergency Plan

We have implemented a Specific Safety and Emergency Plan (PPMS – Plan Particulier de Mise en Sécurité). As part of this plan, emergency sheltering drills may be conducted. This lockdown protocol involves:

  • Securing and locking all access points to our facility,
  • Safely gathering the children into pre-designated, secure areas within the building,
  • Adopting appropriate behaviors and responses designed to protect both the children and the staff from any external hazard.
